Official languages of Finland are Finnish and Swedish, but English is well-known language generally. Especially students speak good English because they are studied that at least six to eight years in school.

So if you are lost or you need an advice how to get to city-centrum for example, don’t be afraid to ask. If the person doesn’t know English but knows the place you are going, she or he will definitely walk with you to that place or finds a person who can advice you in English.
