Music ...from Finland

Finnish music and literature isn’t so well known, but in 2006 Finnish band called Lordi won the Eurovision Song contest.If you listen to the Finnish radio, you will probably hear bands called Nightwish, HIM, The Rasmus, PMMP and Lauri Tähkä ja Elonkerjuu and singers called Antti Tuisku and Anna Abreu.

You may have also heard of Jean Sibelius, the finnish composer of classical music. Finnish nature inspired his music, and he still is very known all over the world. He died in 1957.
