Winter activities ...in Finland.

In winter you can do lots of things, but remember to dress up warmly. Winters are cold, around minus 5 - 25 degrees.
In every town and city, there are at least one ice-skating field or rink. There is also a chance to do cross-country skiing, but if you wish to do downhill skiing, look the nearest place from the Internet. The most popular downhill skiing resorts are Levi, Ylläs, Ruka and Saariselkä.

There is cinema chain called Finnkino, some little towns may have their own cinemas. Finnish movies are rarely dubbed, only children movies are dubbed. If you wish to see a non-dubbed childrens film, ask tickets for the original film.
